Welcome to Otaku Complex v3.5 (Codename 3.better)
This site is built with WordPress using a customised version of the Water theme created by Pura. The header images are a series of works by Kantoku which can all be found in his latest art book titled ‘Ashiato ~Kantoku Art Works~’.
History:
Otaku Complex was founded in July 2008 by Asch with the intent of being one of those episode summary blogs which had pooped up all over the blog sphere. However Asch quickly realised the blog was never going to stand out in such a big pond and instead decided to focus his efforts onto anime industry news and other tidbits of interesting information that came his way.
Otaku-Complex then became a medium to share the amazing aspect of Japanese popular culture, everything from anime & manga, to beautiful idols and jpop artists, and also updates on the latest figurine releases. In early 2009 the site came into trouble when hosting fee’s couldn’t be met but thanks to Suigintoulain and his server the site lives on and even now we remain on his hosting deal.
In summary, this blog is “Your Portal to Japanese Modern Media”.
