Live-Action Cowboy Bebop Film in Development at Fox
The IFMagazine.com entertainment website reports that film producer Erwin Stoff (The Matrix, A Scanner Darkly) is developing a live-action adaptation of Sunrise’s Cowboy Bebop multi-genre action anime series for Fox.
Stoff told the website that the project is “in the really early stages” since the parties “just signed it the other day.” Shinichiro Watanabe’s original anime follows the motley crew of the spaceship Bebop as it travels throughout the solar system in search of the next job. Stoff promised “a real degree of faithfulness,” and added,

I hope they don’t fuck it up!..Excuse my language. I am a hardcore fan of Cowboy Bebop and it would be a shame if they ruined it for the rest of the world which does not know about Bebop. Though I am glad that they finally came through with making a film out of the anime. Hopefully (I rarely use the word), hopefully it makes us Bebopers proud….

Oh! Yeah!, I forgot. If they dont stick too much with how they dress. Like with Spike and his blue suite, with a yellow shirt and dark green hair. I think we will be good. Becase only in the anime do they make that look ‘cool’. In the real world I dont think so. Look at the X-Men movies. They didn’t stick with the original costumes and it was great.

I totally agree with you creek, though when it comes to dress, the original clothes, and I mean just clothes could work if they get actors that can were that sort of stuff.
Though they cant stray too far, i just saw some pics from the new DBZ live action and they have gone so far from the costumes I have no idea who was who.
