DNAngel, definitely loved by both Male and Female audiences, is a story about a 14 year old boy, Daisuke Niwa. Daisuke is a descendant from a family who whenever their heart beats quickly from seeing their crush he transforms into the legendary thief Dark. On his 14th birthday this happens for the first time after being rejected by his crush Risa Harada and he is forced to take on the duties of Dark, the great phantom thief. The only way for Daisuke to stop transforming into Dark is if his crush loves him back. Sounds easy, but Daisuke has to avoid being caught by the police and not reveal his identity of being Dark to anyone. And with Satoshi Hiwatari always watching him, this is not an easy task.
The series is still running slowly but with 14 volumes out already its a very good read. I definitely recommend this one.
