Day 1

Submitted by Val on December 26, 2009 – 5:27 pm5 Comments

So I was thinking, since its christmas time, or holiday time for those of you who don’t celebrate christmas, why not have a bit of a christmas special.

So how about a 12 days of Manga?

Everyday I shall feature a different Manga, different genres, different audiences, everything.  So please look forward to it.

On the first day of manga, Val presented to you:

Doubt by Tonogai Toshiki

Genres: Drama, Horror, Psychological, Mystery

rabbit doubt

This manga is mostly aimed at a male audience though Im pretty sure some females will enjoy it too. It is a little dark by the way.

The story is about a game called Rabbit Doubt which is spreading across Japan. The idea behind this game is that every player plays a rabbit in a colleny, one player is selected at random to be a wolf who has infiltrated the group of rabbits. The wolf has to kill off a rabbit every round while the rabbits kill off who they suspect to be the wolf.

Sometimes the players of the game choose to meet up in real life, outside of the game. Yuu, Mitsuki, Rei, Hajime, Eiji, and Haruka have all met up to hang out and get to know each other outside of the game. However one of them has decided to play the game in real life.

And so begins the fight for suvival amoungst the six attempting to find out who is the wolf and who they can actually trust.

The manga is only 20 chapters long and a very edge of the seat, what happens next type of read. It keeps you guessing who the wolf is right to the end.

Till next time x
