Host Nexus Review

Submitted by Asch on August 25, 2009 – 3:32 pm4 Comments

Well the other day I was contacted by the guys from Host Nexus a Web Hosting Provider and asked to review their services from a bloggers point of view.

So lets start with the website. Their website is very easy to use, which personally I think is very important, all the information you could need is 1 click away and at first glance I am indeed impressed with the sheer amount of services they are offering. To name a few, Shared Hosting, Blog Hosting, VPS Hosting and Dedicated Servers which all immediately took my interest.

So now what everyone cares about the pricing, well its competitive pricing, with shared Linux plans starting at $3.95 which gives you enough resources to kick off a small blog, forum or website, ranging all the way up to $14.95 giving you enough resources for a medium blog/forum or small business website. Then they have the VPS and server plans available for when you out grow your shared plan but I will get to those later.

As I said VPS and Dedicated server plans are avaliable and these themselves are also priced competitively, I have seen slightly cheaper VPS plans, but from the experience I had with one of these said cheaper plans, the customer support was terrible. Host Nexus however offers real people 24/7 which is always a good thing, as guaranteed something will always go wrong when the support staff are offline on similar plans.

I did speak to their LIVE customer support and the person I spoke to was very helpful answering my what must have seen strange queries about minimum contract lengths and stuff like that.

So overall I would highly recommend Host Nexus, their prices are competitive and there seems to be a service for everyone and most importantly the customer service is excellent, so even a complete novice (like me) could get the help needed setting up their dedicated server, and to boot they offer bolt ons, like extra hard disk space if you need more but don’t want to upgrade your plan, what more could you want from a Web Hosting Provider.

This is Asch signing off.
