Ahh such a shame we lost this post… I did rather like it… Anyway I introduced bakuman last time which is a shonen so I thought it would be fair to have a shojo this time around. This manga is the first one I’ve ever seen overtake Naruto in the Manga Fox top 10 manga, and stay there. He’s Dedicated to Roses focuses on a girl of Choi Ida who due to her fathers company going under, owes a large debt to  Mimi’s family. Because of this debt Ida has to act like a maid to Mimi and has to follow everything she tells her to do. But due to Mimi using her as entertainment, Ida piles up a large amount of stress which she has to let out in someway which turns out to be beating people up.

Choi Ida has more than one identity, shes known as the geeky maid of Mimi’s or as the male fighter called Choi Yodah.

Ida/Yodah’s life is thrown around a little when Ida meets Gang Naru who kisses her to make another girl go away. Ida is stunned at first by his beauty and the fact that she was just kissed by him but as soon as Mimi arrives she quickly forgets however in order to pay him back she confronts him as Yodah, but little does she know that this actually attracts him to her. After that Naru starts looking for Yodah but Mimi then meets him.

One thing leads to another and after awhile love triangles, confusion over gender-identities, money, jealousy and revenge all come into play making the story more and more interesting as it carries on. I often find myself staring at the last page of the chapter begging for more.

The art in the story in my opinion is amazing and rather beautiful. The story is also a Manhwa which means it is read from left to right. This is definitely a story I would recommend you all to read, whether you are male or female, who said that certain manga is only for certain people anyway?
