To Love-Ru’s Yabuki Confirmed for Mayoi Neko Overrun

Submitted by Asch on December 2, 2009 – 2:26 pm2 Comments

The website for the Circle K and Sunkus convenience stores in Japan has confirmed, via an unreleased image for a promotional campaign, that To Love-Ru -Trouble- manga artist Kentaro Yabuki is drawing the manga adaptation of Tomohiro Matsu’s Mayoi Neko Overrun! (Stray Cats Overrun!).

info

The light novels’ story revolves around Takumi Tsuzuki, a boy who lives with his older “sister” Otome, although the two have no blood ties between them. Otome manages a run-down confectionary store called Stray Cats. One day, Otome picks up a mysterious beautiful girl off the streets.

Seven light novels volumes have been written since 2008, and a television anime adaptation was revealed last month at the same time that the manga was revealed. Peco, the illustrator best known for the Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke o adult game series, created the light novels’ original illustrations from which Yabuki is basing the manga’s character designs.

Finally I apologize for my lack of activity. Things are pretty hectic here are uni and I am sure Val will vouch for that. But yes I am getting back into posting and once we get email going on the server my figure updates should be back as well. Stay Tuned.
