Tron Legacy is a forthcoming 2010 science fiction film. It is a sequel to the 1982 film Tron. Sean Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) is the 20-something son of Tron protagonist Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), whose curiosity about his father’s disappearance leads him to the now-abandoned site of Kevin’s old arcade. Inside the old building, Sean is transported into the Computer World and embarks on an adventure in which he learns what has happened to his father, and of the shocking new threat to the Computer World.

I was a teen when “Tron” came out and I loved that movie. The trailer here looks pretty awesome but I’ll wait to see/hear/read more before allowing myself to get too excited (which is how I played things for the 2009 “Star Trek” movie and that turned out to be pretty darned good).
